Elephant Park – A Traveling Art Journey
Elephant Park is a unique artistic concept that brings small ceramic elephant figurines into the big wide world across different countries and cultures. Each handcrafted elephant becomes a quiet guest, welcomed into living rooms, kitchens, studios, and personal spaces around the globe. Together, they form an ever-growing international “park” without borders.
The idea behind Elephant Park is simple yet deeply meaningful:
connection, memory, and shared humanity.
Elephants symbolize strength, wisdom, loyalty, and remembrance in many cultures. By placing these ceramic figures in private homes, the project becomes more intimate. Each elephant becomes part of everyday life — standing on a shelf, near a window, garden, or at a family table. It represents trust, hospitality, and the invisible threads that connect strangers across distances.
Every elephant is both an artwork and a messenger. Photographed in its temporary home, it captures a meeting between art and human story — between permanence and movement. The ceramic material speaks of fragility and care, while the elephant symbolizes resilience and endurance. Together, they reflect the balance between strength and vulnerability that exists in every home.
Elephant Park is not just about figurines.
It is about creating a shared global narrative — one small elephant, welcomed into one home at a time.

Discover Elephant Park Cave (Lustūzis), Līgatne
Tucked away in the charming town of Līgatne, the remarkable sandstone formation known as Lustūzis- is one of the area’s most captivating natural landmarks. Located within the scenic Gauja National Park, this striking cliff stretches along the riverbank in warm golden and reddish hues, creating a landscape that feels both peaceful and timeless.
What makes Lustūzis truly special is the blend of nature and history. Over centuries, local residents carved caves and cellars into the soft sandstone, using them to store food and goods throughout the year. Some of these underground chambers are built on two levels — a rare and fascinating feature that tells the story of Līgatne’s resourceful past.
